I’ve spent the vast majority of my career as a “production journalist” or “sub-editor”, working behind the scenes for various outlets, editing stories and writing headlines. There’s a lot more to it than that but it’s the basis.
I love a good pun and creative interpretation of what’s going on in a picture story, known as “a bit of poetry” in the industry. However, I have written a handful of articles and blogs in recent years, just to keep my hand in.
